ABOUT ME
My journey to becoming a clinical psychologist began with a fascination about the human brain and how it influences our emotions and behaviour. After completing six years of university training to become a psychologist I worked for four years in the non-profit sector providing psychological services to people of all different ages and from a wide range of social and cultural backgrounds in NSW and QLD, during which time I completed further training to become a qualified clinical psychologist. In March 2017 my husband I and moved to Gympie and in January 2018 I decided to open a private practice locally.
I love helping people to realise that they can change their unhelpful thoughts and behaviours and see them transform into happier, calmer versions of themselves. I use evidence-based psychological therapies that are specifically tailored to address the needs of each individual.
I am registered with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency and am a full member of the Australian Psychological Society.
